The Art of Mind Mapping

Learn how to make a mind map for revision purposes by watching the video clip below.  Many artists are visual learners and benefit greatly from this technique.  Mind Mapping was invented by Tony Buzzan and has proved to be a very successful method of study.  Mind Mapping can also make learning and studying more fun and enjoyable as it involves using colour, imagery, and fluidity of line. This video tutorial shows how to mind map using computer software, but you can create your own mind maps by hand using paper, a variety of different coloured pens/markers and by following the steps outlined in the tutorial. Making your mind map by hand will give them a creative and an individual quality, which will make them much more memorable for you!  Give it a try and see what you think!
